guess where me and sha are now? We are at...........jurong east library!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoooo!!!!!!!!!
Wondering why we are here? Let me tell you a story.................
Our orientation starts at 9am so we met at 8...to ensure that we get to school on time if we ever get lost...as usual, we hopped into the mrt and waited...at marsiling mrt station, the door took a looooooong time to close....we wondering why...and the announcement came..."...there is a delay in the station service and service will resume after 55 mins..." We looked at our watch and it was 8.15 am! How are we to get there in time? Suddenly, the door closed and moved on as usual...until chua chu kang mrt, they stopped and opened the door...we were instructed to empty the train...there was a shuttle bus to bukit gombak....and we were complaining..."Baru first day nk gi skola, dah kene buat problem..."
There was a hell lot of people waiting for the bus...office workers, jc students..and most importantly, SP students...so we were not alone....we were cramped up like sardine...or as if going to malaysia during a public holiday....they pushed and shoved us...but's its ok....
our aim: to get to school ASAP...though it was already 9 when we board the bus....we were told that somebody dropped onto the rail track on one of the mrt station...
When we reached SP at about 9.30, we looked for DMC people who were waiting for us...they brought us to a lecturer...mine was 9am and sha's was at 1.30...and you know what? He told us that we can try to enter one of the classes if we dont't fear of getting a scolding from the lecturer...and the way he talked to us was like as if we were really planning to get there late...as if its OUR FAULT the mrt had problems and its OUR FAULT that idiot jumped onto the rail track...
So we told him that we wanted to go for the afternoon session coz i don't want to miss half of the lessons...and his reply was: "Look's like you all have matured and i am sure your lecturer would be glad to know that..." What the hell was that for?....so that's how me and sha end up here....using our laptops...and we are going back later for the computer training on how to use our laptops and how to access to our internet etc,etc.....
Lesson learnt today.....
WELCOME TO THE INDEPENDENT WORLD WHERE NO TEACHERS WOULD GIVE A DAMN WHETHER YOU ARE IN CLASS OR NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!
